It is the mission of AZTI to be the nations leading American Sign
Language program by offering the most interactive, comprehensive and
effective methods of learning in addition to providing students
instruction from native signers and leaders from the Deaf Community.

Provision of training in AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (both expressive and
receptive) ranging from beginners/orientation to higher advanced levels. |

Instructors are National Leaders in the Deaf

Provision of evening activities to include focusing on many sub-topics
related to the world of the Deaf, rap sessions, simulation activities and
performing arts. |

Provision of opportunities for education, vocational rehabilitation,
employer and rehabilitation facilities persons providing services for the
Deaf to increase their effectiveness in communication with the Deaf, to
understand the community of the Deaf, and to maintain quality education,
training and job placement services for the Deaf and hearing-impaired
individuals. |

Provision of opportunities for professionals working with the
hearing-impaired and Deaf population to increase their expressive and
receptive ASL communication skills. |

Provision of opportunities for students of sign language, parents and
children of hearing impaired and Deaf people to increase their ASL
communication skills. |

No "voice talking" rule is strictly adhered to
for the benefit of learning
ASL. |

Provide professional ASL training to local, state and regional students. |

CEU’s from RID (Registry of Interpreters) will be available. |

Provisions for those preparing to take RID’s
NIC test, or the EIPA will be made. |
